MCV75
These were the antics of some of those who make it to the centenary weekend. For me, meeting Mazhar was the icing in the cake. I hadnt seen him since 1978! He's the same old witty carefree Mazhar. Shukri was at his best with his ' brutal ' pele mu outburst. Sus is still the Form 5 boy we know, single and available. Rondo, has gotten ' highly matured' and near hairless. Hamzan still retain being the KJB boss. Khairil appeared to have grown taller and Hj Doc Adris wider.
I didnt take that many shots of ' us ' there. I was more interested recording the centenary events. Ikmal did took many shots and Nazi should be ' harrasing ' him for the photos instead.

This entry is a month late. To MCV75 my sincere apology, I couldnt spare the right time earlier to download the pictures. I was rather discouraged. Despite the use of broadband, it takes about 15 minutes to download 6 photos ( at a time ) onto the photopages. The fact that each pictures takes about 2 ~ 3 Mb of space didnt help.
The date was 26th March 2005. MCKK turned 100 ( years ). MCOBA ( Malay College Old Boys Association ) had spent 5 years to realise the event. It was a day to remember. About 2000 old boys ( Kings, Ministers, Tan Sri's, Dato and many Plain ( titleless ) Old Boys ) make their journey, some in chartered executive coaches, to mark the day.

These are shots of the Re Union Dinner held at Kelab Shah Alam on the 6th March 2004. 60 turned up and thats 55% of the unadulterated original 109 MCV75 ( adopting Hamdan Mabok's gauge line - those who sit for the MCE in 1975 at the Malay College! ).
Preceeding the dinner, a game of golf was held at Kinrara Golf Club in the morning, courtesy of Mae Botok. Later in the afternoon, the Re Union of 2005 was brainstormed. An organising commitee has since been formed. Salim retained his COO post.
Waistlines, hairlines, wrinkle lines....etc, certainly have made significant progress 29 years since. Enjoy the pictures. Above all, we were back as one like we were............ and there was much fun, fun and fun....

I believe this was the fourth 'official' re union organised for MCV 75; first was in 1985, second in 1995 and third in 1998. This Selesa Hill Homes ( Janda Baik beside the KL Karak Highway )getaway was over a weekend of 1st~3rd September 2000. I recall, about 40 of us were there ( although there were only 32 in the group photo taken on the last day ) and half came with their families. There were much fun. The swingers ( golfers ) went trekking on the notorious' commando' fairways and lost dozen of balls. We had a 'heart to heart, life sharing experiences' session on one of the nights. We played volleyballs ( and the nurses joined in too ) and had family games the chilly afternoons. The food wasnt that bad and we were lively entertain by some of our own has been singers over the karaoke. Xol Harun did well with his emceeing. All in, thanks to Stone and wife for his brilliant organisation of the event and the appropriate selection of the site.
